Taproom is partnering with Kirkwood Cares, a committee of the Kirkwood Neighbors Association dedicated to providing critical repairs to the homes of low-income residents of Kirkwood.
Proceeds from this fundraiser are specifically going towards replacing rotten floors for Miss Deborah on Warren St. NE. If we sell 225 bags, we will be able to FULLY FUND this renovation!
In order to streamline the process, all orders and pre-payment will be taken online or in-person at the register at Taproom.
Our bag packaging was slightly delayed, so we are still taking orders until they arrive! We’ll do a cutoff of new orders this Sunday 8/19, and bags will be available for pickup at Taproom on Wednesday 8/22. Thank you for being patient as you wait for your coffee bags!
Please feel free to place orders for others (online or in-store), and just make sure to fill out the optional pickup information form so that we get coffee to the right people!
If you don’t want or need a bag of coffee but still want to donate to Kirkwood Cares, use this Paypal link. Or if you would like, you can still purchase a bag of coffee and just donate it to Kirkwood Cares (they can use it for volunteers or re-sell it for more funds) - if you want to do that, please indicate so in the optional pickup information form, saying something like “Kirkwood Cares can keep this bag!”.
The featured coffee for this fundraiser is East Pole’s “Traffic”, currently a Colombian coffee. The coffee is whole-bean, but can be ground upon request at Taproom.
