Sourdough Basics Workshop

When she's not pulling shots of espresso at Taproom, Tess Weaver is a bread baking fiend, constantly geeking out on the best ways to keep sourdough yeast happy (just ask about her "bread thread" texting with like-minded breadistas).

Tess will be leading us in a super-informative workshop geared towards the home baker just starting the sourdough journey. Have you always wanted to bake sourdough at home and didn't know where to begin? Have you had a starter die on you before? Do you want to troubleshoot your recipe and technique? This is the class for you.

Every participant will receive a detailed traditional French loaf recipe, a list of necessary equipment and ingredients, a 2-quart container to hold starter dough, and a batch of tried-and-true starter to kick off your adventures in sourdough.

Tess will also bake up some loaves and have the finished product available to taste during the workshop!

Tickets are $15 each and include the take-home goodies listed above. Limited to 12 participants.
